Attestation and Legalisation of Documents

  • The Consular Section attests civil and commercial documents, including certification of the Seal and Signatures of the designated authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires and Cooperation, Government of Kingdom of Morocco.

  • The documents should be accompanied by an application on plain paper requesting for the said attestation and stating the purpose therefor. The documents should be submitted in original along with a photocopy. The originals, duly attested, will be returned and the photocopies retained for record.

  • Documents are accepted on all Working Days (Mondays to Fridays), from  9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.  Normally, documents are returned between 3.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. on the same day.

  • Fees for various services is given below.

 

NOTE:
  • Documents originating from Morocco will only be accepted after signatures have been duly notarised and then attested by the Ministry Foreign Affaires and Cooperation, Government of the Kingdom of Morocco. This Mission will attest the seal and signature of the authorised representative of the Ministry Foreign Affaires and Cooperation.
  • Specific procedures, fees, etc. are applicable to other attestation services for documents, such as  property and succession matters, birth/death etc. details of which can be ascertained from the Consular Section.

 

The above stipulations are only illustrative and individual cases will have to be dealt with on merits. In case of any further clarification, the Consular Section may be approached.
